This flow piece was originally created to explore the stark contrast between dark and light. This was a hand crafted, open, free pour, created instinctually. Colours include, black, white, cream, grey, copper.
After creating this piece I was searching for a title and came across the poem by Nikita Gill ‘93 Percent Stardust’. And thought that the name was a wonderfully whimsical match.
‘We have calcium in our bones, iron in our veins,
carbon in our souls, and nitrogen in our brains,
93 percent stardust, with souls made of flames,
we are all just stars that have peoples names.’
